Exit Strategies (Buffet & Soros)
1. When Criteria are Breached - fundamental of a company/business model/value concept is changed, degraded over time. (FA - fundamental analysis)
2. When a System Anticipated Event Occurs - e.g. assumption that a currency would be devaluated is confirmed or invalidated; "buy on speculation, sell on news (announcements)". (FA)
3. When a System Generated Target (Value) is Met - buy when a company is undervalued but sell when its intrinsic value is reached. (FA/TA)
4. A System (Bearish) Signal - e.g. from chart analysis , major support line breached. (TA)
5. Mechanical Rules ("Stops") Triggered - use of stop loss (SL) (of say 5-10% below entry price), or trailing stop (adjust SL upwards as price advances). (RM - Risk Management)
6. Upon Realizing a Mistake was Made (in the investment decision or analysis). (Be objective)

China Gaoxian: Error in KDR PE rectified.
China Gaoxian shares in Singapore rebounded back on Friday as its Korean Depository Receipts (KDRs) sprang back with a vengeance after an erroneous price-earnings (PE) ratio on the Korea Exchange (KRX) website was corrected. The KRX website had erroneously reported the PE ratio of the company as 86x which was later corrected to 4.33x. (Source: The Business Times)

Singapore Stocks- May be see weak start; CapitaLand in focus
Jan 28 (Reuters) - Singapore shares may be see a weak start on Friday after rating agency Standard & Poor's cut Japan's long-term debt rating, sending the yen lower, but gains on Wall Street overnight may provide some support.
Southeast Asia's largest property developer CapitaLand may be in focus after it said it will acquire a residential property in Singapore for S$100.7 million ($78.7 million)and redevelop it into a condominium with 150 units.

Jan 26 (Reuters) - Singapore shares are likely to see a weak start on Wednesday after most Wall Street indices were flat overnight, as a surprise contraction in the British economy shook investors' confidence.
Keppel Corp , the world's largest rig builder, may be in focus after it posted a better-than-expected 17 percent rise in fourth quarter net profit on Tuesday, and said it was bullish about orders in coming months.

Keppel Corp , the world's largest builder of oil rigs, may be in focus after it said on Sunday it has secured an order from Clearwater Capital Partners to build two jackup rigs for $360 million.

SINGAPORE, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Singapore shares may open lower on Thursday, hit by weakness in Wall Street after key banking and technology stocks fell on disappointing results.

Singapore Stocks-May see weak start, SGX in focus on Q2 earnings
SINGAPORE, Jan 18 (Reuters) - Singapore Exchange , Asia's second-biggest listed bourse, may be in focus on Tuesday after it said its quarterly net profit rose 14 percent, excluding costs related to a merger proposal with ASX , missing expectations.[ID:nSGC003883] Overall, the Singapore market may see a weak start, as fears grew that a meeting of European finance ministers would not bring a swift end to that region's debt crisis.

中央限價政策繼續拖累煤炭股,中煤(01898)及神華 (01088)跌約3%,收報
11﹒72元及30﹒65元。合約煤佔比較低的兗煤(01171)則微升0﹒9%,造
21﹒65元。
新股十方(01831)首日掛牌,以接近全日低位收市。收市報2﹒65元,較招股價

THE Straits Times Index dropped 0.8 per cent to 3,172.44 at the close, after rising as much as 0.6 per cent earlier.
Shares on the measure trade at an average 15.4 times estimated earnings, compared with about 17.4 times at the beginning of the year.
Among the most active shares, CNA Group sank 6.5 per cent to 21.5 Singapore cents,Genting Singapore climbed 2.5 per cent to S$2.09, while Olam International climbed 2.6 per cent to S$3.15. - Bloomberg
